The Player Progression Academy (PPA) is a premier sports organization in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Our mission is to create great experiences and holistic development through sports. PPA offers athletic programs for players aged 2 - 18 with a focus on helping each player achieve athletic excellence, build a dynamic social network, and learn to apply the principles of sport into healthy lifestyle habits that can be carried through life. Starting at age 7 we offer premier (travel) soccer programs to the players that show a high level of potential. We currently have over 50 premier teams on the boy's and girl's side from ages 8-18. Our teams compete in EDP, State Cup, and USYS National League. We are respected for having a highly decorated staff of coaches and professionals who apply passion, creativity, and excitement to our programs.

PPA is continually looking to add creative, determined, experienced, fun, and ambitious people to its premier staff. *ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO THE DC/MD AREA*

What will you do?

Coach 2-3 practices per week & 1 game per weekend based on age group (5 - 6 hour commitment per week) per team.
Coach 2-6 tournaments per year based on age and skill level
Send weekly communications to your team parents
Attend PPA coach workshops (4 per year)
Trace film break down for 9v9 and 11v11 top teams

Who are we looking for?

Someone who will follow the PPA coaching principles - be prepared, be a teacher, teach PPA Life values.
Someone who will Coach in a manner that is energetic, fun, and active, and that creates a memorable experience as well as a positive learning environment for our players.
Someone who will communicate effectively with other PPA Staff and correspond kindly, timely, and effectively with parents.
Someone who has experience and understands how to teach the core principles of soccer in terms of technical and tactical development
Someone who can balance development with winning
