The Player Progression Academy (PPA) is a premier sports organization in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Our mission is to create great experiences and holistic development through sports. PPA is seeking instructors to lead our Sunday Kiddoball program. Kiddoball is PPA’s introductory soccer program designed specifically for preschoolers and early kindergartners (ages 2.5–5). It's a fun, play-based environment where kids learn soccer fundamentals through games, imaginative play, and positive coaching. What will you do?

Lead engaging, high energy, Youth Soccer Tots Sessions for kids ages 2.5 to 5 years old, on Sundays: 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/31, 6/7, from 9:00 am-12:00 pm in the NW DC/Bethesda area.
Be energetic, patient, and confident in leading groups of preschool aged kids
Provide strong and clear communication with parents and kids
Use ‘Kiddoball’ (PPA’s tots soccer program) curriculum during sessions
Work collaboratively with other PPA coaches and assistant coaches during sessions
Set Up and Breakdown Equipment
Soccer experience is not required

Who are we looking for?

Someone who loves working with, and has experience working with young children (teaching, coaching, childcare, etc.)
Someone who can communicate clearly and positively with classroom management skills
Someone who will follow the PPA coaching principles - be prepared, be a teacher, be patient and positive.
Someone who will coach in a manner that is energetic, fun, active, and that creates a memorable and rewarding experience for our young athletes.
Someone who will communicate effectively with other PPA Staff and correspond kindly, timely and effectively with parents.
Someone who will be a team player and not hesitate to help out where needed throughout the season.

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
